PSIRA Grade D Security Training

Grade D PSIRA security training is to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills required to perform basic security functions. This training is designed for individuals who are responsible for providing security services at a lower level and do not have supervisory or management responsibilities.

The Grade D PSIRA security training covers a range of topics, including

• Basic security procedures,
• Access control,
• Patrolling,
• Searching,
• Emergency response.

Participants will learn how to identify and report security risks, monitor security systems, and provide basic customer service.
